I LOVE KOREAN DRAMAS

I love watching korean dramas.  The "addiction" started in the Philippines about 5 or 6 years ago, when the Korean soaps were translated by the Filipino channels.  They were instant hit! Well for one, the stories are different compared with the typical soaps and are so fast-phased too. In addition, they've wisely designed the episodes such that they always have a very interesting and unpredictable ending.  The viewers would be there the next day to watch it again, to break the suspense. May I also add that the actors and actresses are very good-looking too! The wonderful Korean fashion, culture, and food are featured in every Korean drama.

It is a widely known fact that tourism in South Korea nowadays is on its peak due to Korean dramas.  Some Korean tourist attractions are: the house in Full House, the palace in Jewel in the Palace, and the sceneries in Winter Sonata.

I especialy like the romantic comedies Full House, My Girl, and Kim Sam Soon (would it still be called Kdrama if the plot is funny?).  These are the shows I watched on TV and rewatched on the dvd, marathon-style. Marathon style is defined by yours truly as watching television (almost) non-stop, from late afternoon until 3-4 am in the morning. The kind where you promised yourself at 1am that you'd stop after that episode to sleep, BUT you found out in the teaser that the episode after that one looks much more exciting, so you decided to watch it anyway... then another episode, and another...before you knew it, it was 4am already.

If you haven't tried watching Kdrama yet, then I tell you, DON'T ever think about it if you don't want to be addicted.  I've seen friends get hooked, and for us, there's simply no turning back! lol...
