Music Monday: IT'S EASY by WEEZER

For this week's Music Monday, I am sharing with you the favorite of our family -- WEEZER! Whenever we have long driving trips, we never fail to play their music, especially the acoustic ones they have on youtube.  If you'll ask my 9 year-old son about music, he probably won't say it's Justine Bieber or Lady Gaga. His influences are more of Michael Jackson (he thinks he was really cool!), Weezer (because of humor, beat, and wit), and music from a local contemporary christian station.  He wanted to have an electric guitar because he says it is cooler than the regular one he is practicing right now. Our guitar was a farewell gift from a good churchmate and friend in Kauai. We, however, thought that he should learn how to play the "rambling man" first (besides, electric guitars are not cheap, maybe if we could find one in thrift shops or pawn shops:-)  He still struggles with the speed and beat of that music and it is one of the songs he will play in the recital.

Say for example this Weezer song, It's Easy.  The lyrics says:
Let's not be mean to each other, There's no need for name callin'
There's no need for chain ballin', Let's be nice, Babe, It won't kill us...
